William "Red" Dewayne Brock, age 61, passed away on January 4, 2026.
Born on February 21, 1964, in Corbin, Kentucky, Red was a beacon of joy, resilience, and compassion.
Red was known for his unyielding spirit and unwavering love for his community. He was an avid supporter of Corbin Redhound Football and UK Basketball, often being the loudest cheering from the sidelines.
His passion for these sports was infectious, making him a well-known figure in the local sports community. His love for his community extended beyond sports, as he was also a cherished member of the White Flag Ministry, and he attended the Corbin Church of the Nazarene.
Red was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Carroll Brock, and his mother, Gracie Goodin.
William is survived by his stepchildren, Thomas, Barbara, and Melissa, and by his many friends in the community. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of many.
Visitation will be from 5-6pm on Thursday January 8, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his service will be held at 6 pm with Rev. Alex Lockridge officiating.
