Wendell Edward Patterson, age 47, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Wendell Lee Patterson and by a Nephew, Cody Ryan Felts.
Wendell is survived by his Children, Justin Patterson and Brittany Patterson; Mother, Thelma Dirr and his step father Terry Dirr; Grandchildren, Jayden Patterson, Luna Nantz, and Kameron Meeks; Sisters, Melinda Miller and husband Norm, Denise Martin and husband Steve, Jennifer Felts and husband Chuck, and Sherri Eversole and husband Dennis; and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 2-4pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where messages may be written to the family at

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to help with expenses.
