Troy Hart was born on December 14, 1965, in Corbin, Kentucky, and passed away on Friday October 2, 2026, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Known for his contagious laughter, love for fishing and hunting, and all things racing Troy left an indelible imprint on the lives of all those fortunate enough to know him.
Troy, a proud Kentuckian, dedicated his life to the manufacturing sector, where he served with distinction at Williamsburg Plastic, and later from CTA in Corbin. His work ethic was nothing short of inspiring, a testament to his character. However, Troy's life was not all about work. He was a man who loved life and lived it to its fullest. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace in the tranquility of nature. Whether it was fishing, hunting, or racing, Troy was in his element.
After his retirement, Troy became the owner-operator of Hart's Bee Creek Market, and he was a Christian by faith.
Troy was preceded in death by his father, Willard Hart; mother, Gladys Rogers Meadors; and by his sisters, Lois Hobbs and Brenda Hart Hinkle.
He is survived by the joy of his life, his daughter, Ashley Hart and his granddaughter, Madison Earls. He is also survived by his brother, Terry Hart; and by many friends including his girlfriend, Erin Jackson, and good friends, Steve "Bo" Martin and Robert Taylor.
Visitation for Troy will be held from 11 AM until 2 PM on Saturday, October, 10, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
