Troy Grubb

Troy Grubb, age 43, born on August 11, 1983, in Manchester, Kentucky, departed this world on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter cherished by all who knew him.

A resident of Corbin, Kentucky, Troy dedicated his professional life to maintaining the warmth and comfort at Red Roof Inn, where his unwavering dedication to his craft made every guest feel at home. As an avid fan of UK, his passion for sports was infectious, always bringing people together to cheer for their favorite team.

Troy's greatest accomplishments, however, were not measured by his professional success, but by the love he shared with his family and friends. He was a devoted father, whose children were the light of his life, and an amazing friend to all who crossed his path.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Grubb and Janie Marie Brumley Grubb

He is survived by his children, Xavier Grubb, Kyra Smith, Kayleigh Rains, Mia Grubb, Ava Grubb, and Bella Grubb; his siblings, Johnny Grubb Jr., Eva Grubb, and Adam Grubb; his fiancé, Taylor McKeithan; and by many family and friends, including his special nephew, Skyler.

Visitation for Troy will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will begin at 8 pm.
