Tina Marie VanHorn

Tina Marie VanHorn, 60, of Corbin, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Born in Lakeview, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Doris Casner Kanine. In her earlier years, she worked as an aide in nursing homes.

Since moving to Corbin, Tina has attended Corbin Trinity Methodist Church and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 88.

Tina is survived by her daughter, Jessica VanHorn of Gray; Her son, Derek VanHorn of Corbin; a grandson, Stevie Smith of Gray; brothers, Rick Kanine, Russ Cline, and Grover Kanine; and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Hagan.

Sisters Teresa Cline, Betty High, and Carol Watson preceded her in death.

The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Corbin Trinity Methodist Church, located at 1010 S. KY Avenue, Corbin, KY 40701, with Pastor Jaewoo Joung and Stephen Smith officiating. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
