Ruth Ann Rogers

Ruth Ann Rehfus Rogers, age 78, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at her home.

Born in Indianapolis, IN, to Paul J Rehfus and Betty L Balcom Rehfus; she was a proud "daddy's girl" and spoke fondly of her father well after his passing and was a devoted caregiver to her aging mother. Ruth had a love for life and making memories with the people she cherished most; from road trips with her best friend, Brenda Hart, to quiet moments coloring with her grandchildren and "camping" in the front room, tent and all. At the time of her passing, Ruth was the sole caregiver to her husband, Ray, providing excellent care and remaining faithfully at his side as she had the past 61 years of marriage (January 23rd, 1965)

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Rehfus; a brother, John W. Rehfus; and her daughter, Sharon Ranae Boyd.

She is survived by her husband, William Ray Rogers; mother, Betty Balcom Rehfus; daughter, Paula Kidd and husband Jim; grandchildren, Ryan Lachlan, Grayson Boyd, Kara Arvoy, and Megan Coley; and by three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
