Ruby Jones Faulkner, 82, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born in Lily, KY, on November 23, 1936, to the late General Floyd Jones and Dora Miracle Jones.
She was an office manager for Dr. Leslie Karr for many years and a longtime member of AAMA. She was a life-time member of Central Baptist Church where she also volunteered her time to their Matthew Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odell Faulkner, a son Kevin Faulkner, a brother Goebel Jones, sisters Bertha Black, Ethel Black, Myrtle Cox Whitley, and Betty Sams.
She is survived by daughter Kathy Harris (Eddie), and son Kerry Faulkner (Dorenda), and daughter-in-law Jan Faulkner Bender. She has six grandchildren: Chad Faulkner (Nikki), Amber Bobo (Lance), Brett Faulkner (Heather), Keri Williams (Patrick), Blain Faulkner (Erica), and Hope Huddleston (Shawn); eleven great-grandchildren: Bailey Bobo, Briana Bobo, Brody Faulkner, Maggie Williams, Luke Bobo, Isabella Bobo, Rowdy Faulkner, Sadler Williams, Sloane Faulkner, Anna Faulkner, and Charley Huddleston; sisters Clara Karr and Elrose Carr (Jacob); brothers Jimmy Jones (Tammy), Opal Jones (Elizabeth), General Floyd Jones (Peg); sister-in-law Helen Jones and brother-in-law Walter Faulkner (Patti); and special friend Edward Anderson; along with a host of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. James Vandy officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00 pm Thursday at Central Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her "Tuesday Night Girls" and her Christian Homemakers Sunday School Class.
