Roxell Elmon Karr

Roxell Elmon Karr, age 74, of New Albany, IN, passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
He was born in Corbin, KY and was a retired computer programmer having retired from Humana.  A US Army veteran of Vietnam, Roxell enjoyed playing chess, reading, and music.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Elmon Karr and Myrtle Eaton Karr and by a nephew, Bryan Karr.
Roxell is survived by his Wife, Joy Dizney Karr; Son, Roxell Karr; Daughter, Lena Karr; Brother, Rondal Karr and by his beloved cats, Molly and Ginger.
Funeral service for Roxell Karr will be held at 3pm on Tuesday Sept., 25, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Lawson officiating.  Keavy DAV will be conducting military honors at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
