Rosemary Middleton

Rosemary Middleton, age 68, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Born in Gray, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Bill Middleton and Monnie Foley Middleton.

A woman of loving nature, Rosemary was generous beyond measure, and her supportive spirit was an anchor for those who had the privilege of being part of her life. Her passion and love for life were reflected in her vibrant garden, a testament to her nurturing spirit and her love for the beauty of nature. She enjoyed crocheting and created beautiful pieces that were not just warm coverings, but tangible expressions of her love and care. As a member of Rossland Holiness Church, her devotion to her faith was unwavering and served as her guide through life.

In addition to her parents, William and Monnie, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Rose Kelly Messer.

She is survived by her children, Maranda Carr (Marty), and Bobby Messer; grandchildren, Draven Messer, Martin Carr III, Rayna Carr, Brayden Carr, Brianna Evans, Trevor Blevins, Tyson Blevins, Keyshaun Blevins, and Natasha Dugger; several great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Middleton (Linda), Billy Middleton, Harrison Middleton (Kaye), Bobby Middleton (Faye), Cordia Hickey (Gary), Kenny Middleton, and Joey Middleton; and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 3 pm.

Burial will follow at Brafford Cemetery in Gray, KY.
