Roseanna Marie Bledsoe

lol Roseanna Marie Bledsoe, age 76, claimed the promise of resurrection on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born on October 1, 1949, to the late James and Maggie Westerfield Egner. Roseanna was a loving wife of 53 years and an amazing mother and grandmother who loved unconditionally. This love was felt and reciprocated by everyone who met her.

She was a true woman of God. The Lord's light shined through her for all the world to see because of the life she lived for Him. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and she was a dedicated and faithful member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James David Bledsoe; sister, Patricia Messer; brothers, Anthony Carlo Egner, James Glenn Egner, and Jerry Dewayne Egner; and by a grandson, Nicholas Dakota Bledsoe.

Roseanna is survived by her loving husband, Carl Bledsoe; children, Labron Bledsoe (Laura), Mashonda Reynolds (Scott), and Dewayne Bledsoe (Becky); eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral service for Roseanna Bledsoe will be held at her church, The Church of God of the Union Assembly, 1905 S. Mains Street, Corbin, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 12- 2 pm. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday with Paul Thomas Hughes and Rick Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.
