Roger Lee Brown

Roger Lee Brown, who was born in Knox County, Kentucky on May 25, 1957, passed away on Friday September 18, 2026, at his home in Corbin, KY.

He previously worked with horses in Lexington, KY and later worked as an auto body repair specialist.

Roger was preceded in death by his sons, Roger Dale Brown and Daniel Lee Brown; parents, Raymond and Ethel Rose Brown; brothers, Raymond Lester Brown Jr., Kenneth Eugene Brown, and Robert Brown; and by his sisters, Margie Eulene Hale and Adeline Lucille Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Brown; daughter, Rita Leanne Tallent; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Ray Brown, Tommy Alex Brown, and Johnny Lorne Brown; sisters, Linda Hill, Brenda Hartell, and Betty Broughton; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm on Tuesday September 22, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2pm with Rev. Greg McClain officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bowling Cemetery, Gray, Kentucky.
