Rev. Woodrow W. Berry, age 77, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Christian Care Community.
A humble servant of the Lord, he was born on February 18, 1948, in Troy, OH. A man of unwavering faith, Woodrow's dedication was evident in his service to his Lord and Savior. He was a retired minister with the Assembly of God. Woodrow was also a charter member of the New Life Worship Center in London, KY. His inspiring sermons were a testament to his love for preaching the gospel. He was a retired from Hobart Manufacturing.
Woodrow was a man of simple pleasures. He loved to fish and hunt, embracing the tranquility and beauty of nature. Yet, what mattered most to Woodrow was his family and preaching the Gospel.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Kathy Berry; his loving daughters, Angela Schmith (Terry) and Pamela Nolin (Chris) of Corbin; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and by his brothers, Greg Berry and Dale Berry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Helen Berry, his son, Michael Berry, and his grandson, Matthew William Berry; brothers, Eddie, Bard, and David Berry; sister, Almeda Kinder.
Visitation for Rev. Woodrow W. Berry will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12:00 pm. to 2:00 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Herby Hopkins officiating.
Burial will take place at Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky
