Ressie Johnson, 81, of Laurel-Whitley Road, Corbin, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at her residence
She was a retired worker for American Greetings and Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her son, Cecil Johnson,Jr.; and the children she raised, Shannon Stewart, Tommy Stewart, Benjamin Stewart, Lisa and Teresa Stewart, Dora Stewart, Joe Stewart, Alice Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Johnson; 11 brothers and two sisters.
The funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Simms Fork Cemetery in Bell County.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 pm Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
