Phyllis Darlene Stroup

Phyllis Darlene Stroup, born on May 10, 1947, in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, graced this world with her gentle spirit and captivating warmth for 79 beautiful years. She passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Virginia Fields; and by her brothers, Edward Fields, Lanny Ray Fields, and Rick Fields.

She is survived by her husband, William Stroup; stepdaughter, Renee Bolton, and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Tim, Chelsea, Merita, and Jason; and by a niece, Pam, and a nephew, Russell.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 12noon until the time of her funeral service at 1 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Bolton Cemetery in Woodbine.
