Phyllis Sue McCoy

Phyllis Sue McCoy, age 78, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at her home.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, on May 6, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Laura Taylor Jones. 

Phyllis enjoyed watching TV shows, playing cards, and she especially enjoyed watching the deer that frequented the field near her home. Phyllis is now reunited with her mother, whom she dearly missed. Phyllis was Baptist by faith and she attended Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years.

Phyllis is survived by her devoted daughter Patra Gregory and her grandson Cooper Gregory.

Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00am at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, with Rev. Tony Jackson officiating.
