Paul D. Jackson

Paul D. Jackson, age 79, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on June 7, 2025. 

Born on December 10, 1945, in Harlan County, Kentucky, He was a son of the late Scott and Mossie Jackson. Paul was a retired maintenance worker and a US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gerald, Sue, and Fanny. 

Paul is survived by his children, Paul Jackson Jr., and Michelle Henson; brother, Ray Jackson; and by several grandchildren including Justin Collins.

 Visitation will be held from 12 - 2 pm on Thursday June 12, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2 pm. 

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky with military honors by the American Legion Post #88. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is seeking donations to help with funeral expenses.
