Opal Colleen Wells, age 66, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wells and Margret Shelton Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Wells.
She is survived by sisters, Georgia Rains of Corbin, Arbutus Watson of Lexington and Joyce Smith of Corbin; and a brother, Noah Wells of Corbin.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am Tuesday, Jan. 31, until the funeral at 12 Noon at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
Burial will be in the Wells Cemetery in Knox County.
