Nora Marie Greene

Nora Marie Greene, age 28, of Norwood, OH, formerly of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
She was born in London, Kentucky to Charles David and Kathleen Holthaus Greene. She was a long time member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Barbourville and was confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin where she chose the confirmation name of Theresa in honor of St. Theresa of the Little Flower. Nora was a 2003 graduate of Corbin High School and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Transylvania University. She was a current member of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption where she married her husband Jacob Evans.
Nora was preceded in death by her Grandparents, George Greene Jr., Nora Thompson Greene, and Edward Joseph Holthaus.
She is survived by her Husband, Jacob Evans; Parents, Charles David and Kathleen Holthaus Greene of Corbin; Brother, Charles David Greene II and his wife Marcee Gillham Greene of Birmingham, AL; Sister, MaryBeth Greene of Norwood; Grandmother, Mary Agnes Holthaus; and by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday December 28, 2012 from 5-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington with Monsignor Neuhaus Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St John Cemetery in Covington.
