Monty Chester Burns

Monty C. Burns, 54, of Keavy, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011, at his home.
Born in Ohio, he was the son of the late Clyde and Jeanette Burns. He had worked as a truck driver. A U.S. Army veteran that served in Germany, he was also a member of VFW Post #88 in Corbin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Harrison Burns; best friend, Dave Hackett; and brother-in-law, Charles Harrison and his wife Delfina.
Pallbearers will be Tony Hoskins, Lonnie Bowling, Denny Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, Cecil Sparkman and Ernis Robinson.
Visitation, Funeral Service, and Burial are all private.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master St., Corbin, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
