Michael F. Prewitt

Michael F. Prewitt, age 72, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was born on January 22, 1954 in , Kentucky and was resident of Gray, Kentucky, he was a self-employed carpenter and a true "Jack of All Trades." He found great joy in woodworking, cutting trees, and working on cars.

Michael was a cherished member of the First Christian Church in Corbin, Kentucky. His faith was an integral part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Pansy Prewitt, and by his sister, Deborah Carlene Wilkerson

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Prewitt; son Michael Ryan Prewitt (Kim); daughter, Chastity Bradshaw (Alan); grandchildren, Mallory, Sophia, and Rowland Bradshaw; siblings, Sandy Lee Chumley, Tamra Denise Brock, Marcia Ann Patterson, Jennifer Kay Sasser, Danny Ray Prewitt; and by a stepdaughter, Larissa Beller (David) and their children, Abigail Beller, Maddox Roark, Xandria Beller, and Xavier Beller.

Visitation for Michael Prewitt will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026, at the First Christian Church, 100 S. Kentucky Ave., Corbin, Kentucky, from 12noon until 2 pm. His funeral service will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. Ron Mitchell and Rev. Dr. Robert Tibbs officiating.
