Maxine Morgan

Maxine Morgan, 89, of Corbin, KY passed away Tuesday evening, May 2, 2023 in Baptist Health at Lexington, KY. Born at Middlesboro, KY, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Maggie Loop Lowery. A sister Mae Galloway and brother Russell Evans also preceded her in death.

Maxine had worked several years at Jack's Market on Main Street at 6th. before becoming a parts clerk for Rudd Equipment. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.

Her family includes three sons: Larry Morgan, Kelvin Morgan and wife Vicki, and Chip Morgan; six grandchildren: James Morgan, Kristi Morgan, Tony Morgan, Nicholas Morgan, Bradley Morgan, and Christopher Morgan; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Maxine's visitation will begin at 11:00am Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral will follow there at 1:00pm with Rev. Paul Sims officiating.
