Mattie Joe Walters, 84, of Corbin, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
She was born in Walnut Grove, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Mattie Joe had worked as a nurse for Baptist Regional Medical Center, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Walters and his wife Billie Jean of Lexington; and grandchildren, Steven Walters and Katelyn Walters; and a sister, Verna Chavis of Michigan.
Services for Mattie Jo Walters are private.
