Marvin Dean Rose, 79, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee.
Born in Mt. Vernon, KY, Marvin was the son of the late Warner and Oval Prewitt Rose. He was also preceded in death by his wife Brenda Sue Rose; sister Bonnie Brooks; and brother Denver Rose.
He is survived by three daughters: Deana Rae Smith, Lorna Lanham, and Leah Norvell (Patrick); grandchildren: Chris Holbrook, Brittany Cassin, Jared Norvell and Courtney Norvell; and by five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, September 15, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Lawson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
