Margaret "Maggie" Elliott Cox

Margaret “Maggie” Elliott Cox, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at UF Health Leesburg.

Born in Corbin, KY, on June 3, 1974, Maggie was the daughter of Carla Elliott and the late Larry Elliott. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Union College.

Maggie devoted more than 20 years of her career to UF Health Leesburg, most recently serving as Unit Secretary in the Cardiac ICU. She was dedicated to her work and to the people around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Elliott.

She is survived by her mother, Carla Elliott; husband, David Cox; and son, Elliott Cox.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. 

Burial will follow at Carl and Betty Family Cemetery in Woodbine, KY.
