Lora Halcomb

Lora M. Halcomb, age 81, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at Baptist Health - Corbin.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late W. C. Moore and Lula Epperhart Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Mahan; brothers, Lloyd Moore and James E. Moore; and sisters, Lois Moore and Lola Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Halcomb; daughter, Glenda K. Majors and husband Dr. Gerald Majors; four grandchildren, Jason Mahan, Anthony Mahan, Kristin Majors M.D., and Matthew Majors; and by several nieces and nephews who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am Friday, Feb. 22, until the Funeral at 1:00 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
