Lois Thelma Asher

Lois Thelma Roark Asher, age 84, of Eastpointe, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at St. John Macomb Oakland- Macomb Medical Center Hospital in Warren, Michigan.
She was born on June 10, 1929, in Corbin, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor Asher in 2010, Son, David Asher, and Parents, Chester and Nancy Roark
She was the beloved mother of Jesse Coleman, Diane Pollack, Sharon Asher, Louise Asher, Susan Strohecker and husband Alexander, Robert Asher and wife Marcia, Craig Asher and wife Michelle, and Michael Asher and wife Tamara; 25 Grandchildren; and 32 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, Dec. 6, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 pm on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home.
