Larry Wayne Carver

Larry Wayne Carver, age 64, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He was born in Madisonville, KY and was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart.
Larry was preceded in death by his Parents, Oather Thomas Carver and Edna Hartford Carver, and by a Brother, Kirby Carver.
He is survived by his Wife, Deadra D. Carver; Children, Billy Reid, Tanya Ballard (Jimmy) and Courtney Carver (Brian Booth) all of Corbin; Grandchildren, Lynlee Reid, Emma Smith, Scarlet Wilson, Alysa Reid, Jeffery Reid all of Corbin, and Allie Ballard and Cameron Ballard; Brother, Craig Carver of Madisonville; Several Nieces, and by his canine companion Sweetpea.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
