Judy Schneider

Judy Mills Schneider, age 75, of Corbin, KY. passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Judy was born on June 4, 1950, to the late Lester and Chelcie Mills.

She was known for being so loving, caring, and generous. She gave to many with her loving generosity. Judy gave her time to her family, as she was present for births, deaths, illness, and times of sorrow. She even loved being present at events for her great-grandchildren and grandchildren. Judy was also known for working at Warner's Factory, Kmart and Bruening Bearings. She had a strong work ethic, and that was evident in every aspect of her life.

In June of 1969, she was united in marriage to Clarence "Eddie" Farmer, and to this union, two children were born, a daughter, Michelle, and a son, Mike.

Judy was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Clarence "Eddie" Farmer; parents, Lester and Chelcie Mills; brother, Rick Mills;

In addition, she was also preceded in death by, two sisters-in-law, Faye Farmer and Alice Farmer; brothers-in-law, Alfred Earl Burnette, William "Bill" Farmer Jr.; her mother and father-in-law, William and Edith Farmer; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and a special niece, Sandy Burnette.

Judy is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Michelle (Farmer) Felts (Charlie) of Richmond. KY, her son, Michael Farmer (Angela) of Corbin, KY.

Judy has a special host of grandchildren, Kayla Campbell (Michael), Ashley Rains (Danny), Kelsi Davis (Cameron), Shane Farmer, Kaylie Farmer, and Sarah Hensley.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Colton, Cooper, and Kambree Campbell, Carter Murray, Jackson Murray, Samarah Hensley, Aleigha Smith, Allayiah Storms,.

Her brother, Donald Mills (Barb) of Loveland, Ohio.; sister-in-laws, Betty Mills of Fairfield, Ohio, Juanita Burnette of Barbourville, brothers-in-law, Harold Farmer of Girdler and Walter Farmer (Carol) of Bailey Switch.

Judy also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, and other family and friends. Special friends, Loretta and Tim Thompson.

Visitation for Judy Mills Schneider will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 6-9 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin. Wednesday, June 3rd, from 12-2:00 pm. Funeral to follow. Rev.Sean Disney and Bro. Brandon Azbill will officiate.

Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Campbell, Danny Rains, Cameron Davis, Tony Burnette, Craig Kidd, Tim Thompson, Doug Mills, Jamey Mills and Joe Mills.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Advent Health Staff, Dr. Giriraj Gupta, UK Chandler Medical Center, Mayfair Manor Rehabilitation and staff, and Corbin Continued Care Hospital.
