Juanita Hopkins

Juanita Hopkins, a beloved wife and homemaker, passed away on December 28, 2024. 

Born on November 25, 1948, in Rockholds, Kentucky, she brought warmth, love, and joy to all who knew her. Juanita loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a devoted member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where her faith was a shining beacon in her life, and she believed in the promise of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Juanita enjoyed playing the piano and gardening.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Glennis Hopkins; sons, Mark Hopkins (Gayle), and Chris Hopkins; and by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Miller and Emma Hensley Barger; her siblings, Tony Davenport, Wilma Goff, Wanda Bevis, Edward Miller, and Jeanette Grubb.

Visitation will be from 12noon until 2 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Immanuel Baptist Church, where her funeral service will be held at 2 pm at the Church.

Burial will follow at Corn Creek Cemetery in Whitley County.
