Johnny will be remembered for his pride in sharing any and all of the vast knowledge he gathered throughout his life. The impact he had on his family, friends and colleagues is immeasurable.
He loved to joke around and his unique sense of humor always seemed to grow on everyone, even those who didn’t want it to. He was very well known and highly respected in his industry. His reputation pegged him as one of the best heavy machinery mechanics around. Johnny could fix absolutely ANYTHING! He was the “Johnny” of all trades, a master of his craft, whatever that craft may be.
Anyone who knew him knew his love for fishing, and if he wasn’t working, he was on the water. He enjoyed a good bass fishing tournament and a relaxing day out on the lake.
Preceded in passing by his parents, William Paul Stott III and Clara Stott; his sisters, Paulette Scherer, and Rosemary Stott; and his grandson, Jerrien Ray Stott.
Johnny is survived by his large blended and loving family. His wife, Colleen Stott; his children, Jerry, Jason (Jessica), Aaron (Gina), Elaine (Tonya), Steven, Billy (Holly), John (Isabel), Crystal (Craig), Melanie (Mackensie); and brother, William “Bill” Stott IV (Janet). He was also blessed with many grandchildren: Jonathon, Jessie, Keeley, Alex, Brennan, Brandon, Mackensie, Malakai, Lorelei, Craig, Catalina, Caylee, Trevor, Nicholas, Katie, Briley, Hunter, Serena, Trinity and Alex. Grandpa’s heart was big enough to embrace every child that loved him as their Grandpa or Papa Johnny.
Johnny will be missed tremendously by all those who loved him and had the honor of sharing in his life.
