John Will Pridemore

John Will "Blackie" Pridemore, age 87, of Corbin passed away on Friday, February 18, 2005 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin.
He was retired from the L & N Railroad, and was a Baptist by Faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Maxine Tye Pridemore in 1999; his parents, John Monroe Pridemore and Mattie Monhollen Pridemore; Five Brothers and Three Sisters.
He is survived by his Daughter, Betty Ruth Merry of Campbellsburg, IN; His Son, Leonard Pridemore of Corbin and His Son, Harry Pridemore of Enoree, SC; 10 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
Funeral service will be at 8pm on Sunday evening at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Davis Cemetery in Rockholds.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Sunday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
