Jessie Curtis Dozier

Jessie Curtis Dozier, 82, of Gray, departed this life on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the home of his daughter, Wanda Hart.
He was the son of the late Matt and Martha Dozier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Dozier, daughter Annette Garland, brother Clint Dozier, sister Alice Mudrack, and granddaughter Tina Renee Hubbs.
He is survived by four daughters: Wanda Hart and husband Butch of Corbin, Ruby Hubbs and husband Harold of Corbin, Mary Potter and husband Gary of Corbin, and Louise Bays and husband Earl of Keavy; one son Curtis Ray Dozier and wife Pat of Corbin; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brother Chuck Dozier; sister Joann "Onnie" Weddle; and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 24, at Rossland Church in Gray with Rev. Claude Medlin, Rev. Sam Moore, and Patrick Decker officiating.  Burial will be in the Brafford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 P.M. on Friday, June 23, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
