Jerry 'Bear' Elliott

Jerry "Bear" Elliott, age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
He was a member of New Covenant Church and was preceded in death by his Parents, John and Ruby McCowan Elliott; Sister, Elizabeth Laura Clark; two Step-Children, Roger French and Patricia Gray, and by his Grandparents.
He is survived by his Wife, Brenda French Elliott; Brother, Terry Elliott and wife Susan; Step-Children, Denice Reed and husband Stanley, Omer French, Tim French and wife Michelle, Angela Rayburn, and Marcella Thomas; Several step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews including, Chrissy Elliott, Jonathan Elliott, Rodney Ellison and Tessa Queener.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin with Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Tuesday April 21st at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
