Jerry A. Reeves

Jerry A. Reeves, 81, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Jess Reeves and Rotha  Reeves. He was also preceded in death by sisters Bonnie Felts, Shirley Saylor, and Berneida Pinkava; brothers Charlie Reeves and Thomas Reeves; granddaughter Karin Blankenship; and great-granddaughter Kara Bunch.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Doris Martin Reeves; children Vickie Blankenship (Charles), Mike Reeves (Wanda), Mick Reeves, Teresa Sullivan (John), and Allan Reeves (Rosie); six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Daphean Clouse.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 30, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Reaves and Rev. John Miles officiating.  Burial will follow.
Pallbearers will Harold Martin Jr., Joshua Reeves, Butch Blankenship, Jason Prewitt, Anthony Bray, and Jerry Sullivan.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
