Jari Lapp

Jareth "Jari" Lynn Lapp, age 64, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 15th, 2026.

Jari was passionate about her love for animals and caring for all of God's creature's. A testimony to her Christian faith and her compassionate character; she would have gladly provided a home for all of them if she could. She loved music and one of her favorite hobbies was crocheting. Her memory will be cherished by many for the way she loved them like their own mom. Her children were her greatest achievement and her grandchildren were her greatest joy. As the rock of the family, her strength, compassion and even her stubbornness, will be greatly missed.

Jari was preceded in death by her mother, Sonia (Briggs) Mazur; her sister, Shari Ebbing; and her son-in-law, Corey Worthington.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Lapp, Alyssa Bowlin(Michael Duran), Angela Lapp, Jacob Lopez(Marinel), and Aleaha Worthington; grandchildren, Ethan Bowlin, Madilynn Bowlin and she was looking forward to the arrival of her third grandchild, Nola Cutno. Also surviving are a host of family and friends to forever hold her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of life will be held by the family and announced at a later date.
