James Messer Jr.

James Messer Jr. age 68, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2016 at his home.
He was a retired Sergeant First Class from the US Army having served in Vietnam where he received a number of medals and citations.
James was preceded in death by his Father, James Messer Sr.
He is survived by his Wife, Eva Mowrey Messer; Mother, Jean Feltner Messer; Children, Joshua Aaron Messer, Jacob Adam Messer, and James Andrew Messer; Grandchildren, Haley Messer, Gabe Bowling, Shyann Southard, and Jeremiah Messer; Brothers, Darryl Messer and Robert Messer; and by many other family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday November 20, 2016 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin with Rev. Dean Lawson officiating and with Military Honors.
