James Marvin Pierce Jr.

James M. Pierce Jr. age 77; of Corbin, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin.
He was retired from the US Postal Service. James was a US Navy veteran and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Dennis Pierce in 2014; Parents, James M. Pierce Sr. and Laura Barrows Pierce; and by a Sister, Jeanette.
James is survived by his loving Wife, Betty Sue Pierce; Son, Darrell Pierce; Daughter in law, Lisa Pierce; Brother, Burton Pierce; and by many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Barbourville City Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hammonds and Rev. Dennis McCoy officiating.
