James M. Begley, age 68, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
He is retired Mechanic Specialist from General Motors, a US Army Veteran, and Pentecostal by faith.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Huie A. Begley; two Brothers, Dewayne and Bobby Begley; Granddaughter, Martha Begley.
He is survived by his Wife, Frances Gilbert Begley; Mother, Christine Begley; Children, Doris Lynn Bashawaty and husband Bob, and James Begley Jr. and his wife Lisa; Six Grandchildren, Monique, Vincent, Nicole, Eric, Nicholas, and Stacy; Brother, Jack Begley, three Sisters, Betty Elliott, Jewell Powell, and Susie Faulkner; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery in South Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday, August 7th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
