James Elliott

Mr. Elliott was born on May 22, 1937 in Whitley County to the late Ray and Bessie Elliott. A retired coal miner, he was Baptist by faith. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two sisters, Georgia Poore and Geraldine Gibson, and a sister-in-law, Ollie Mae Elliott.
He is survived by his daughter Dina Dople and her husband Greg; four brothers, Howard Elliott, Hubert Elliott and wife Sue, Dallas Elliott and wife Thelma, and Denbill Elliott and wife Betty; grandchildren Dillon and Shaelyn Dople; and several nieces and nephews.
