James "Bill" Willie Smith; age 50, of Barbourville, passed away on Friday August 28, 2015 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
He is survived by his Wife, Billie Jean Smith; Mother, Patricia Lockaby of Warren, MI; Father, James Smith Sr. of Covington, KY; Daughter, Kristien Barton; Son, Justin Smith, Grandson, Jayden Smith all of Barbourville; Brothers, Ed Smith of Warren, MI, Michael Smith of Warren, MI, James "Shorty" Lockaby of Warren, MI, and Jerome Lockaby of London, KY; Sisters, Carolyn Barrett of Keavy, Garcia Smith of Corbin, and Brenda Lockaby of Barbourville, KY; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for James "Bill" Smith will be held at 1pm on Sunday August 30, 2015 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Knox County.
