Hubert Wayne Buchanan

Hubert Wayne Buchanan, 77, of Woodbine passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Continue Care Hospital.
Born at Woodbine, he was a son of the late John and Mae Davis Buchanan. He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Dixie Roaden, Georgia Prewitt, Ruby Shumate, Floye Buchanan, John Buchanan, Jr., Leonard Buchanan, and Willard Buchanan.
Hubert is survived by four daughters: Shonda Banning (Phoenix Grubb), Barbara Sturdivant (Gary), Wanda Liddell (Jim), and Virginia Budnyk; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Melba Richmond; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Pat Banning, Kenneth Helton, and Joe Bays.
He had been a hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with children and his family.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Earl Tye officiating. Burial will be at the Wilton Cemetery.
