Harvey H. Tubbs

Harvey H. Tubbs, 58, of Gray passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Disney Tubbs; one son, James Tubbs; one daughter, Sabrina Powell and husband Jeffery; one adopted son, Darrell Tubbs; three grandchildren, Patrick, Alexis and Victoria; one brother, Bruce Tubbs; and four sisters, Melinda Yeary, Pearlie Dycus, Brenda Pomineck and Rosemary McMillan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Wright Tubbs; one brother, Johnny Tubbs; and two sisters, Katherine Ponder and Francis Sellnacht.
Mr. Tubbs was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a heating, air and electrical contractor. Military rites will be given at the cemetery.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jerry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Paint Hill Cemetery in Knox County.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
