Harold E. McNew, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in Corbin. Harold was born in Laurel County, KY, a son of the late Orville and Myrtle Gaines McNew. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Verlie Ledington McNew; son, Edward "Eddie" Hodge; and brothers, Rollie and Jack McNew. He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Stephen McNew, Faye Sappington, Kim Jones, Debbie Taylor, Darrell McNew, and Greg McNew; and by several great-nieces and great-nephews to mourn his passing. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hopkins Cemetery in Laurel County. Messages may be written to the family at
