Gracie Tucker Demoss

Our mother Gracie Tucker DeMoss went to heaven on December 19, 2013, at the age of 90 at her home in Chapel Hill, NC.
She is survived by three sons: Larry (Audrey) Tucker of Visalia, CA; Jerry Tucker of Bremen, GA; and Darrell (Peggy) Tucker of Chapel Hill, NC; three daughters: Doris (Brian) Baker of Bakersfield, CA; Oneda (Larry) Bain, of Lexington, KY; and Janie (David) Taylor of Huber Heights, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family members. She is also survived by her best friend, Annie Art of Plant City, FL; and an adopted daughter, Brenda Bain, of Lexington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and three brothers; one son, Dewey Tucker; and a daughter, Joyce Gurley.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home.
