Goldie Mabel Reed

Goldie M. Reed, 98, of Lily, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
Born in Laurel County, she was the daughter of the late Carr and Elizabeth Williams Chadwell. She had worked as a sales clerk at the Eversole Department Store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Reed; sisters, Bernzia Freidhof, Lela Chadwell and Zora Wilkerson; brothers, Alfred Chadwell and Winford Chadell, and infant brother, David Chadwell.
She is survived by her sister, Roxy Chadwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 11, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday, Jan. 10, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
