Gerald B. Hopper

Gerald B. Hopper, age 86, of Corbin, passed away at his home on March 19, 2018.
He was a retired counselor, and was a US Army Veteran of Korea and a member of the US Army Bands.  Gerald was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Corbin.
Born in Juno, TN, he was preceded in death by his Parents, Charles E. Hopper and Ester Myrtle Holmes Hopper; brother Curtis Hopper; and sister Naomi Deere.
Gerald is survived by his sisters Dorothy Love of Shawsville, Virginia  and  Delora Coulter of Searcy, Arkansas; nieces Deni Payne; nephews Gary Deere of Nashville and Ronnie Deere of Texas; and neighbors, friends, and church family.
Visitation will be from 12noon until the time of his funeral at 1pm on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily.
