Gary W. Elliott

Gary Wayne Elliott, age 59, of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carl Elliott and Betty Ruth Harmon Elliott. He had worked with heavy equipment as a welder and mechanic and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Elliott; son, David W. Elliott of Clearwater, Florida; step-son, Daniel Bailey of Woodbine; step-daughter, Melissa Cheek of Savannah, Georgia; brother, Larry D. Elliott of Woodbine; sisters, Carolyn Reeves of Corbin, Donna Elliott of Mt. Sterling, and Debra Goodin of Corbin; and eight grandchildren, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday, May 19, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Elliott Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Friday, May 18, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
