Fred Robertson

Fred Robertson, age 85, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born in Hazard a son to the late Ray and Eva Howard Robertson. Fred was retired and was a member of First Apostolic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Robertson and Freddie Robertson; brother, Herschel Robertson, sister, Cleda Mae Baker; and by two stepsons, Donnie Smith and Roger Smith. Fred is survived by his wife, Lois Marie Poff Robertson; children, Kathy Knotts and Jimmie Robertson; sister, Barbara Deaton; step sons, Dennis Smith and Darren Smith and wife Jeanett; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am on Friday October 8, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 11am with Pastor Dana Martz officiating.
