Esther Peace

Esther Peace, 67, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018,  at her home.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late George McHargue and Mable Petrey McHargue. Esther had worked as the Human Resource Manager at the Corbin Times Tribune.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Edward McHargue and Charles "Red" McHargue; three sisters, Reni McHargue Sexton, Ruth McHargue Sexton, and Mary Ann McHargue Woods; and nieces and nephews: Chloe Sexton, Ricky Lee Bunch, Cassie Marie McHargue and Joseph McHargue.
Esther is survived by her husband, Rick Peace; two children, Monte Peace and Carlee Rutherford (Jack); grandchildren: Tiffany Philpot, Shawna Peace, Jacob Peace, Hannah Rutherford, and Noah Rutherford; sister, Geraldine Bunch; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am Saturday until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
