Esther Harris

Esther C. Harris, age 73, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Friday April 19, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

Born in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a retired dietician assistant at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Harris; son, Scott Harris; parents, Alfred and Ruby Cook, and by one sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Collins, Michelle Foley, and Dawn Carroll; grandchildren, Jeffrey Edwards, Joey Edwards, Brooke Dozier, Jordon Jones, Megan Foley, Jade Carroll, Jaylia Carroll, Christina Lewis, Faelynn Collins, Willie Collins, and Julius Craig; great grandchildren, Hayden Edwards, Dallas Edwards, Shelby Edwards, Joey Edwards Jr., Journee Carroll, Lyric Gast, Baylee Middleton, Codi Foley, Haylyn Smallwood Jones, and Elijah Smallwood Jones; eight siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation for Eshter Harris will be from 6-8pm on Monday April 22, 2024, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral service will then be held at 2pm on Tuesday April 23rd at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Brian Kitchen officiating.

Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery, Laurel County, Kentucky.
